Heirloom Apple Pie Workshop & Tea #2 Sunday October 18 12-3 PM $75

$75.00

Virginia has a history of cultivating rare and heirloom apples tied closely to George Washington and Thomas Jefferson who grew famous regional varieties. I am grateful to have grown up with a host of relatives who not only grew heirloom apples in the backyard, but taught me the love baking from early in my childhood. In this class we’ll learn the art of perfectly flaky crust and everyone will craft their own six inch apple pie to take home. While the pies bake, we’ll enjoy our special Montague Kitchen Blend Afternoon Tea with a slice of freshly baked apple pie with homemade vanilla ice cream and sample a few different Vintage Virginia Heirloom Apples. You’ll take home your pie, the recipes and sweet memories of a wonderful afternoon in Urbanna!
